What to bring and wear
Wear
- What your team wears to meets. Most students wear business or dressy clothes. Ask your coach.
- Shoes you can stand and walk in all day
- A layer. Schools can be cold.
Bring
- Your script, if you are in an Interpretation event
- Whatever your event needs. Ask your coach.
- Water and snacks
- A phone charger
- Something quiet to do between rounds
- Some cash, if the host sells food
Remember
- In Interpretation, street clothes are fine and stage costumes are not.
- Phone off and away in the room.
- Never record a round. Video taping at a tournament is never allowed.
- Between rounds, go back to your team’s home base.
